I recieve the following error when attempting a restore using the GUI:
KBPDSQLODS01: Restore - Failed
==============================
Restoring full backup - Failed
This operation failed with errors.
Error: SQB service is no longer running.
Updating SQL Server information - Pending
Operation pending.
Server is Windows Server 2008 64 bit, SQL 2008.
The restore begins and updates progress for a period then dies. As this is a Win 2008 server i am unsure of where the log files are now kept for more information.

I apologise you are encountering this error.
What version of SQL Server are you running and what version of SQL Backup do you have?
Does this also happen when running backups?
The log files should be kept here on 2008 Server :
$:\ProgramData\Red Gate\SQL Backup\log\<instance name>
Alternatively you can open the SQL Backup GUI and choose Tools>Options to find the location.
If you could send some log files to support@red-gate.com quoting reference F0020565 that would be great.
