Are you logging in to the workstation directly? The description for the error you encountered is as follows:

The profile of the user is not loaded and cannot be found. This happens when the application impersonates a user, for example, the IUSR_ComputerName account.

  • I am directly on the server and I logged in with an administrator account. I have also tried to login using the sa account and get the same results.

    Hi,

This looks familiar. There is a known Microsoft issue when you try to RunAs a program as a domain admin, the OS denies access to the system32 folder. If you're using RunAs to launch SQL Backup, try logging into the desktop as the domain admin and see if it works. If so, that's probably the issue. You probably can't use a domain admin because of the Microsoft bug.
  • Brian, I am logged into the server using the domain admin account. So i don't think it a right problem. I am able to access the databases thru Enterprise Manager, from that server.

    Hi,

Can you please try using a local admin account on the computer? The point is that there is a problem using RunAs when you use a domain admin account.
