in SQL Prompt
I am having trouble getting the very critical object-definition popup (Intellisense??) to display.
I just upgraded SSMS to v17.4 & Today upgrade SQL Prompt to 9.0.4.3408
is there a comprehensive list of Menus..Sub-menus...field/options that must be specified to get the feature to work?

I'm sorry to hear that you are encountering issues with the object-definition popup.
Have you enabled suggestions for your database from the prompt menu (SQL Prompt/Enable Suggestions) ?
Is there anything else on the screen ? Another popup that appears instead of the object-definition popup?
Thanks,
Fabiola
Yes, Enable Suggestions is checked - and nothing happens when I hover over an object (e.g. a table name), an alias or a SQL function.
I did not have the Objects box checked - not sure how that happened but perhaps something due to the upgrade.
I appreciate your help!!
Thank you for the feedback!
Regards,
Fabiola
Im using MSSQL studio 17.9.1 and SQ Prompt 9.5.13.11024. I am experiencing the same issue even though Objects is checked. This problem started after 2 previous upgrades for SQL Prompt. Please assist.

I have the same configuration of Fabiola (aparts insertion keys)
I am on SSMS Version: 15.0.18424.0. The object suggestion stopped working. I read through the above suggestions and verified that those are checked. Are you able to provide any other suggestions?
Interestingly, it is working in Prod but not in Dev. It was working in Dev too earlier but stopped working at some point.
Thank you for your help!
