SQL Backup 6.2 is less stable than 5.4 with SQL 2000?

After we upgraded all our servers from version 5.4 to 6.2, we have a lot of SQL 2000 servers giving problems, all giving the message 'Insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service'. All these servers also gave problems in the past (5.4), but after implementing the MAXDATABLOCK setting the problems dissappeared. And if problems in 5.4 reappeared changing the MAXDATABLOCK setting to a lower value solved the problem again. But in 6.2 lowering the MAXDATABLOCK setting doesn't solve anything. Only a reboot of the server seems to solve the issue, but most of the time the issue reappears within a week

This is a known issue and has been fixed in the latest build. Please contact myself or Red Gate Support for a patch (robin.anderson@red-gate.com) referencing bug SB-4359.

Version 6.3 was promised soon in a post from August. Is bug SB-4359 part of 6.3 and is it still coming soon?
Thanks
Chris

There seems to be some confusing information coming from Red Gate over 6.2 and 6.3. Only last month James Moore suggested that 6.3 wasn't going to come out for quite sometime http://www.red-gate.com/messageboard/vi ... php?t=9871 Now 6.3 has been released and as I am upgrading from 5.4 I want to know what would push me to 6.3 rather than 6.2 other than this is the newest version. I am partially thru the upgrade process and would need a good reason to start again.
Can someone give a good reason for going to 6.3, either in this item or in http://www.red-gate.com/messageboard/vi ... php?t=9871
Thanks
Chris
