Automate compare of static data from Source Control version B to Source Control version a

We have the SQL Toolbelt Essentials (NO SQL Automation) and we are committing static data changes to SQL Source Control (not schema changes). Our goal is to automate comparisons of the static data in Source Control versions and to separate out the process of moving new rows ('Source Only' in SQL Data Compare) from the process of moving updates ('Different' in SQL Data Compare).
I have been unable to find any documentation or help on comparing Source Control versions to other Source Control versions via command line. Has anyone done this or have some documentation/examples to point me to?

I'll see about getting the SQL Data Compare documentation updated to include the source control source and target information!
