Showing spurious differences where none exist

When comparing 2 tables with no proper key (so I set the comparison key to all the columns I am comparing), most rows are returned as identical, but an equal number are shown as only in source and only in target - these obviously match, and if I put them into excel and compare the columns, they all match - so why are they not being matched by the tool?

There is no hint as to why they are being considered different (it would be good to see the checksum) and as I am under time constraints to complete testing, this will cause a big problem if I have to separately evidence these rows manually in Excel.

I have looked at all the comparison options but none of them make any difference.

What else can I do to work out why the tool thinks these rows are not the same?
