    • Extended event sampling of deadlocks is enabled by default on all versions of SQL Server from 2008
    • Improved detection of backup frequency on estate backups pageusing median time between backups
    • Some performance improvements for the estates - backups pages
    • Ignore SOS_WORK_DISPATCHER and QDS_ASYNC_QUEUE waits by default

    • 130536 Show used and available space for Azure SQL Database space alerts

I don't believe it will require a restart - the installer will stop the V8 services, install V9 services and start those

I don't understand, why go to the trouble, of implementing notification by severity and not do it on all notification methods, including slack ???
Please, please, please do this for all the noftification methods...

Thanks for your comment. We released it first for email notifications as we believed this would immediately help a majority of users. We do have an enhancement on our backlog to implement this for all notification methods, but we've also found it useful to consider the different use cases that have been described to us so we can make sure we deliver the best solution.

It would be useful if you have an example of the kind of thing you are trying to achieve - e.g. how do you process different severities? Do you only use one method for all severities are do you use different methods for different severities?
