SQL Search keep indexing in SQL 2014 Enterprise

Every time when I click on SQL Search icon, I see the "Indexing..." message. It took 20-30 seconds and quite annoying.
It used to work before.
I double checked the folder C:Users<user name>AppDataLocalRed GateSQLSearch 2Indexes and all the indexes are still there.
I also try removing /reinstalling SQL Search (v2.1, v2.2, v2.3) multiple times, none works so far.
What went wrong and how to fix it?

Does this occur after you search for an item or before? If your able to search are you searching for all objects and databases or for just one of each?

It happens before I search for item.
I am able to search for all databases once the indexing finish.
But next time I open SQL Search, the indexing appears again. It seems like the indexes are never used for subsequent search.
Here is the log:
There is an existing bug open for this under reference SDI-683. At this point, I can't provide an ETA on when this will be fixed. I will keep this post updated with any information that I receive on this.

Do we have any update for this ? This bug basically reduce the usefulness of SQL Search by at least 50%.
Without the fast cache and instant result, the time waiting for SQL Search to finish indexing is more than searching for it manually.

We don't yet have an update on this, I'm sorry to say, but we will still post here once we do.

Have you visited our Help Center?
Agree with a previous post that this issue has made this tool practically unusable!
Any update here?
It's been close to a year since this was first brought up

Colleagues in the development team responsible for SQL Search are investigating the problems and are planning to build a new Indexing module to replace the one currently in the tool.
I will update when the new version of SQL Search becomes available that fixes the issues reported to us.

I was also having this issue and seem to have successfully negated it by blind luck.
After indexing had completed, I disconnected from the server in the object explorer and then reconnected. Immediately the search results appeared that had not previously worked and the re-indexing has not occurred since.
I hope this helps your dev team debug this.

Alan
