Table comments truncated

It seems MySQL Compare cannot handle table comments correctly. They are truncated by MySQL Compare after 60 characters, despite the database engine apparently being able to handle longer comment strings.
Interestingly, it seems truncation does not occur for column comments.
Is there some way around this problem? I use MySQL 5.5.

It appears that we have a known bug with regards to Table Comments not being handled correctly. I have added the details of this forum post to an existing Bug Report whose reference number is MSC-59. Sadly I have no ETA as to when this bug will be fixed. At this time we do not have a development team working on the Redgate MySQL products.
The only workaround I can suggest is to enable the "Ignore comments on tables" option via the Edit Project ->Options tab.
Many Thanks

Believe this bug is now fixed in MySQL Compare v1.0.0.672 which can be downloaded using this LINK.
