Transporting documentation to a modified instance

Hi,
is it possible to take documentation from one instance of a database and transport all the entered texts to a documentation of another instance of the same but modified database, with the difference of few added columns in some tables? So that I wouldn't have to enter the tons of comments again but only add comments to the new columns?
Maybe this is a stupid question, but I didn't manage to find this functionality anywhere in the program.
Thank in advance for your advice

The documentation that is supported in SQL Doc is the MS_Description extended property. If you use SQL Compare, you can synch an object in one database with an object in another. The extended property is treated as part of each object in SQL Compare and therefore would be copied across with a synchronization.
Please give this a go and let me know if this solves your problem. If you are unclear about how this works, please respond to this thread or send me a private message.
