Feature Request

It would be great if the command line could be used to generate documentation automatically, without needing to create a project for each instance. Creating a project is not a problem with a small number of instances, but we would like to be able to run SQL Doc automatically for all our instances, and with a larger number of instances it is a pain to create a project for each one.

  • I have had to create many scripts to provide for instance level information. For example number of CPU, available RAM, disk and disk space available, sort order type, job information and so on and edit the output of the HTML report.

If this information was available within your product it would be much more useful for disaster recovery planning without manual editing.

    Thanks!

  • Thank you for these ideas. I have raised both of them as enhancement requests to be considered for a future release.
