In SQL Backup 4.6 there was restore progess information that let you know how much of the database had been restored. Is this function still available in SQL Backup 5.0? If not will it be available in future releases?

Thanks,

  • Yes this is available in version 5.
The In Progress tab will show both current backup and restore activity, with the processed column indicating how much data has been processed so far.

The data shown in the In Progress tab is automatically updated periodically, however you can refresh the connection in order to force an update to the data. Right click the server and select Refresh connection

  • All I am seeing is "Operation in progress" am I missing something?? SQL Backup 4.6 would show a % or GB completed and for some reason I am not seing this in version 5
  • The In Progress tab is the middle one of the 3 tabs in the bottom panel.
This shows the amount of data processed as per version 4.

Once you have completed a dialog, SQL Backup shows a dialog which you can hide, then you can go to the In Progress tab
