Hi,
i a new user of the red-gate product. it's great product for the SQL server database comparison.
We have build the comparison scripting with the Data Compare and everything working fine.
I want to know if it's possible to run the scripting result or the comparison into a batch file.
Why !
Because, we trying the create an automatic process for doing the comparison between 2 databases during the night.
thanks for your help.

thanks for your question. You can do exactly what you want using the SQL Data Compare command line, which is part of SQL Data Compare Pro. To find out more about the command lines, please take a look at our website www.red-gate.com and the SQL Bundle help file.

SQL Data Compare 'Professional Edition' comes with a command-line tool that you can use to schedule comparisons. It's called sqldatacompare.exe. To see the possible options for using it, open a command prompt and type sqldatacompare /?
