Applying changes from the source code repository to database

Hi,
is it possible to apply objects from a revision back from source control to the database?
Reading from the forum it would appear that it would require an external tool - it would be good to have the option to simply e.g. after selection an object which way the refresh is going, from database to source control or vice versa.
Thanks,
M

Thank you for your forum post.
What you seeking is not currently possible in Source Control for Oracle and the work around is to checkout the required version from Source Control to a folder and using Schema Compare, compare the folder to the live schema and deploy changes.
I recommend that you comment and vote for this User Voice TOPIC.
The User Voice forum is the best method of submitting a feature request. The User Voice forum for our Oracle tools is actively monitored by both Development Team and Product managers. Also the more votes a topic receives increases the chances it will appear in a future version of the product.
Many Thanks
