I have just install SQL Monitor 3.5.0.497 and I can not register the server.

Error:

Date Group Event Outcome Exception Exception message
28 Aug 2013 2:21 PM Registry GetStringValue: \\myserverXXXXX\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Time Zones\\Display Bad data #fsG Key or value not found

Can you help me?

Note: I can access the remote registry successfully

  • Hi,

Monitor looks at the value of the key at HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\TimeZoneInformation to find what the current time zone is. I would guess it will have a key ‘TimeZoneKeyName’ set to ‘Display’. If you can change the value of 'TimeZoneKeyName' to a valid time zone then that should resolve the error (one way to do this would be to go into "change time and
date settings" under the system clock).

Please do let us know if this resolves the issue or not.

    Thanks,

Really my environment did not have a timezone set.
After setting, the error has been resolved!

    Thanks for help!
