SqlMonitor runs MUCH faster in google chrome than in IE8

All,
I had been having concerns about the speed and refresh rate of the sqlmonitor tool , and trying to use it effectively to monitor my servers.
On a whim i thought i would try it in google chrome V 9.0.597.94
performance of the site is much faster than in IE 8.0.6001.18702
I'm not sure if it is a specific thing with my site, or i have an option in IE which might be slowing the site down when viewed in IE, but i thought i would share this as it has made a world of difference to me (even in the last 30 minutes)!.

You are correct in your observation. Even our testing shows the same results. Among all the supported browser, the performance on IE is worst.
We are currently working on improving the performance of UI in general. But we are also doing some extra work to make IE perform better.
