  There is no way to remove this from the application entirely. If people are using your machine, surely they could reverse any measure you take to disable the feature?
  
  Pleaes bear in mind that Red Gate tools are licensed per-user, not per-installation, so unless these other users are licensed users, they shouldn't be accessing the application in the first place. For further information, please contact sales@red-gate.com

  What is the problem with other users running Check for Updates? Is there a reason why you don't want other users to run this?
