Upgrading to Visual Studio 2022 17.9.0

Hello,

I'm currently running 17.8.5 and 17.9.0 is now available.
Is SCA working fine in this version?
Historically there has been issues with VS upgrades, I want to be sure the upgrade is safe.

Regards,

Éric

    Hi Eric,

I have upgraded to VS 2022 v 17.9.0 and I am getting below error. It looks to the one you are referring to with 17.8.0 version - https://forum.red-gate.com/discussion/90219/problem-after-update-to-visual-studio-17-8

Anyone else encountered this issue, please?

  • Hello Annie,

Yes this is the error I'm referring to, but it was fixed.
Which version of SCA are you using?

    I have version: 4.6.24045.3134

    Regards,

    Éric

  • Hi @EricLamontagne

If you can hold off from upgrading to 17.9 & 17.9.1 that would be great as there's currently an issue with modifying database connections

    Kind regards
