Relation between private bytes and Class List / Live Size

Does the Live Size of all objects in the Class List match the size of Private Bytes shown in the top graph of the profiler? If not, what shows the contents of Private Bytes? Does the growth of Private bytes match the Live Size of objects that are shown when selecting the "From current snapshot show/ Only new objects option? Thanks.
