After quite a bit of development the 1.1 release of Exchange Server Archive is ready.

For this release we concentrated on the support for larger networks, the installation experience of the User Archive Access Service and improving the stability of the Outlook Add-in.

New Manage Exchange Servers and Domains Wizard

This allows you to register further domains or Exchange servers for use with Exchange Server Archiver, by default Exchange Server Archiver registers the local domain (for the user running the Configuration wizard) and Exchange servers on that domain.

Better installation experience when installing the User Archive Access Service

For IIS 7 and IIS 6, the UAA Service installer creates an application pool that is configured for ASP.NET 2.0. For IIS 5.1, you must still ensure the ASP.NET version is set to 2.0.

Improved stability when using the Outlook Add-in

The warning message to restart Outlook was occurring in cases where no restart was necessary; this is now fixed in most cases. Also, errors when dragging messages to the junk mail folder have been fixed.

In addition there have been numerous other bug fixes in other areas.
