Hi
We have a SQLToolBelt licence with one year support & upgrade included. SQL Comparison SDK 7.1 is installed.
When I start the installation of the new ToolBelt, it shows that SQL Comparison SDK 8.0 is available. When I check Install or Upgrade, there is following message :
- Installs alongside SQL Comparison SDK 7.1
- A new trial period will be started
The first message is fine but what does the second means to me? Why trial period? We already have a full version with upgrade possiblities...What will happen when I install this new version?
Thanks for help!
Alex

I think that the message is a "blanket" message to assuage any fear that the old installation will be overwritten. In order to display the appropriate message, Check for updates would probably have to communicate with the licensing server with your serial number details, and it's currently not that sophistocated.
