Monitoring Error: Could not get the memory grant of xxKB because it exceeds the maximum config limit

Been monitoring the MSSQL server for a few months already, there is no change to server configuration so far, today a monitoring error happened and I have no idea what caused it?

The SQL server is running MSSQL 2022 (16.0.1000.6)

    Hi @Jaffe

    Sorry you've seen this issue with Redgate Monitor, potentially could be a query requesting more memory than the configured limit allows. Will reach out to you through an internal support ticket to request a copy of your log files which will hopefully allow us to diagnose this.

    Once we've found the cause in your case will look to update this thread with the underlying issue for others who may come across this.

    Restarting problem entity has resolved.
    @Jaffe - many thanks for your prompt responses on the internal ticket while we looked at the exception text provided from UI and logs.
