in SQL Compare
We are moving to a more automated release process that includes migrating 7 production databases servers. All of the databases are identical in structure.
When we release a new version of the application, we copy the server install package to each server and migrate the databases from our build server. When the Server update is installed, it places the client update in a shared directory where all users will automatically update the next time they start the client app. The build server has a license for SQL Compare.
What we want to do is include the migration of the database in the server install package so when the server application is updated, the database is migrated at the same time.
The issue with the current process is database may get updated before the server and clients are updated which can cause issues if there are database changes to remove fields.
I assume we will need a Deploy License. Do we need any other licenses?

Thanks for asking!
Yes you're correct, a Deploy licence, (recently rebranded to Flyway Enterprise) is indeed required.
There's a breakdown here https://documentation.red-gate.com/sc/getting-started/licensing
