turn off snippet manager

How do i turn off snippet manager? I've tried deleting the snippets, but they come back. It is not a useful feature for me and it constantly gets in the way. For example, I wanted to type 'where status = current_status' but by the time I hit C + U i had a nice create user snippet inserted. I'm one of your users who will never use this feature and thinks it gets in the way.

Thank you for your inquiry about SQL Prompt. To prevent snippets from appearing when entering a shortcut acronym, you can create a new folder and change the snippets folder to that new location, ensuring it's not in the way and completely empty.
