Need with SQL Connection Pool Exhaustion

My developer has been having issues identifying root cause on a C# MVC app that connects to SQL Server. The app has an issue that causes the connection pool to exhaust, requiring the app to be rebooted a few times a week.
Is ANTS Performance Profiler the right tool I should purchase to assist in finding out the problematic code? Or is there a different Red Gate or other product I should purchase for this analysis and fix?
