Is there any plan to add support for adding users to database roles. We have users as members of db_datareader extensively and not having that packaged really limits the usefullness of the package.

Hi Allan,

This seems to be an oversight that we'll work on fixing. SQL Compare does produce scripts for builtin role membership, so I see no reason why Packager doesn't behave the same way.

Any idea when this might be? I have the same requirement for an application that I'm about ready to release. I was under the impression that it would include this.

I'd imagine we'd fix it in the next release. That could be quite a while...

How do we get around this "oversight" in the meantime?

The next version will most likely be a major release and a few months away. In the meantime, we're only addressing bugs in the current version before thinking about new features.
