my company introduced a new policy. We are now required to use a separate account to access sql servers
the password expires every nn hours.

how can i run redgate tools with the new credentials, say, for example, from the command line using RUNAS?
Where are the redgate executables in my Windows machine?

    Hi there,

You can login with the regular account and then RUN-AS the admin account for SSMS and other apps.

You can just use your Redgate ID to login, as long as you have an internet connection. If not, then we can manually activate.

The license is tied to the Redgate ID, the application is tied to whichever user account you installed it to.

If SQL Compare is also installed under the admin account then you can run it using that same account and also use the same Redgate ID to activate

Let me know if you have any other questions.
