Git must be installed on this machine

in SQL Source Control

I got a new laptop for work. Trying to get everything setup. I installed Git for windows. I can see it in the path. But Source Control complains about not seeing it. Cannot find git.exe.

I checked my path multiple times. Rebooted multiple times. I have restarted SSMS multiple times. I have unlinked, restart SSMS, relink database multiple times. I expect its something simple at this point.

What else can I do to troubleshoot? 

C:\>git --version
git version 2.40.1.windows.1
