We have a hybrid estate some on-prem and some azuresql (PAAS), noticed that to monitor the azure dbs you have use sql server authentication. is it on the roadmap to move that to azure ad authentication and if so how far into the future are we talking? As we're looking to standardise our approach

Could you confirm what it is you are looking to do?
Are you looking for users to authenticate to SQL Monitor with AAD credentials?
Or looking to add servers with AAD credentials?
We're looking to add server with aad credentials
