Profiling part of an application mk.2

Hi guys,
Is it just me or there is no "Pause" button. I'd like to examine only a part of the application, not because slow profiler or something, just because I'd like to check just that part without any clutter.
(there is a similar request http://www.red-gate.com/MessageBoard/vi ... php?t=8912)
I know I can select only part of the timeline, however it isn't always easy to select the *right* part.
So, I'd like to se some sort of Pause or similar button that would allow me to start profiling (or at least mark timeline) at certain point in time for a finite time.

see this article about using the UserEvents.dll to annotate the events bar on the timeline.
You can set markers to allow you to pinpoints areas you are interested in.
