Change how a new Sql Change Automation project in Visual Studio creates sub-folder by schema

I am setting up a new Visual Studio project with an existing database (following https://documentation.red-gate.com/sca/developing-databases/working-with-the-visual-studio-extension/setting-up-a-project-in-visual-studio/setting-up-a-project-with-an-existing-database-in-visual-studio ). However, after the baselining completes, I don't want sub-folders for each schema in Programmable Objects nor Schema-Model (i.e. Tables).

I see that the Project Properties window has checkboxes for this feature but they are checked by default:

How do I *not* have the initial set of objects in separate folders for each schema?

  • Hi @eamonmaher

I've been doing some testing around this and I'm unable to get the desired behavior, but I think I know the settings that need to be changed. I'm going to reach out to the development team and get some information from themselves!

    I'll keep you posted!

    Kind regards
