we need to wipeout the old data so our mdf file size decrease

I have created an EC2 AMI from the old SQL Monitor server, created a new server, and deleted old logs and entries and unused old Monitors servers, but my MDF file does not decrease the size.

I want to delete all monitor servers and logs on the SQL monitor server and then re-add some servers on that which we have to monitor.

    Hi @imran140

If you have Monitor up and running you should be able to access the configuration and modify data retention for various areas of the program.

By setting it to 1 day  and removing the non-required servers from being monitored I would expect their data to be purged and reduce used storage on your system

This is accessed through Configuration > Data Management

You can also see how much space is being used by different areas of SQL Monitor here too so you can tailor how long you store different bits of data.
