Thank you for the link - so that returns me to my original question:

We would need this feature for Multiscript.

Unfortunately, SQL Multi Script doesn't support MFA as it doesn't share the same connection dialogue as the other tools where this has been implemented and it was going to be a separate task for a little used tool so the decision was taken not to undertake the work.

So the answer is, it will never support it?  If so, we will plan not to renew or extend the license.  Thank you!

I've spoken to the dev team for Multi Script and I'm happy to report that they have decided to take on the work to support MFA. It's on their backlog.
