Constraints and Indexes are not removing by Redgate source control deployment process

In the initial version of the table creation, I created a foreign key on the table but the explicit name is not given for the foreign key. DB has given it a random name. In the later version, I explicitly renamed the same foreign key. When we tried deploying the latest to the DB using Redgate, it tried dropping the foreign key unsuccessfully and the deployment failed. So, I removed the foreign key manually and went ahead with the deployment process. This cant be an ideal solution for the production scenario. So, please help us in this scenario.

  • The drop is probably unavoidable but I wouldn't expect the deployment to fail, can you please give us more details regarding the error you have received?
