in SQL Compare
SQL Compare ignore database scoped credentials. So you wont be able to create external data source from generated script.
Is that by design or something that you will change in the future?

Unfortunately, SQL Server does not allow access to the credentials, so it wouldn't be possible for SQL Compare to deploy database scoped credentials.

It's clear that password is not accessible. Maybe just to prepare create statement with data available from sys.database_scoped_credentials without secret but with warning/comment?
