Accessing Reports

Hi Kathi, 
How could you access the configuration for a report, if you did not configure/design it? i.e. if you do not have access to the report project? let's say you come to a business and the person who wrote the reports has since left. is there a way to get to the design of the reports to reconfigure them?

I'm assuming you mean these reports are published in the Web Portal. You need to have permission to the report (content manager, publisher, or report builder). Click the ellipsis next to the report name. Select Download to get the report definition. You can then pull it into a report project in VS.
