Attempting to create new image, error message "Invalid SQL Backup header. Trial has expired"

I just applied an updated trial license to extend our SQL Clone demo for two more weeks.
Now that I've applied it, I can no longer create an image.
I'm trying to create a new SQL Clone image, based on a recent SQL Backup (SQB) file.
Error message consistently replied with, "Invalid SQL Backup Header. Trial has expired."
I'm assuming this error is referring to the trial of SQL Clone, rather than SQL Backup, which I know is a valid and paid license.
I've rebooted the SQL Clone server a couple times, and even re-applied the 'extended' trial code.
Thoughts?
