Switching among tabs (by clicking the tab) is not refreshing the page

When switching among open tabs by clicking the tab, the screen is not refreshing (most of the time).  It tends to blend the lines.  The image below is me simply switching to a tab with less lines, then scrolled down a little.  Lines 41-46 were from the previous tab.

Using CTRL-Tab seems to work perfectly.

SQL Prompt:
Version 10.0.5.12842

SSMS:
SQL Server Management Studio 15.0.18206.0
Microsoft Analysis Services Client Tools 15.0.1567.0
Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC) 10.0.17134.1
Microsoft MSXML 3.0 6.0
Microsoft Internet Explorer 9.11.17134.0
Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0.30319.42000
Operating System 10.0.17134

  • Hi @cdctechguy

Sorry to hear you've run into this issue!

It doesn't seem to be caused by SQL Prompt. If you turn off 'User hardware graphics acceleration if available' , do you still have this issue?

    Kind regards

That seems to have been the solution. What's strange is I don't remember having this issue before installing SQL Prompt with that option turned on.  Anyway, thanks.

I started seeing this some months ago. It was immediately after an SSMS update, and then a SQL Prompt update (or maybe the other way around).

I wasn't ready to blame in on SQL Prompt, though. I think it was the SSMS update, and clearing the acceleration option seems to have cleared it up.
