Installation on AG

in SQL Backup
Although experienced in most of the Toolbelt products, I'm new to Backup.
SQL Server 2012 AG, do I need to follow the steps in cluster installation https://documentation.red-gate.com/sbu/getting-started/installing/installing-the-server-components-on-a-sql-server-cluster or do I install it as an individual product on each server that is part of the AG?
The live environment does not have Internet access, so how do I install onto that?
Thanks for any assistance,
Steve,.

Thanks for your post.
You will use the normal install on AG replicas (since, unless the replica is itself a clustered instance, they are not necessarily clustered instances), so it's just a normal installation on a standalone SQL instance.
You will need to have access to an internet connection somewhere to activate SQL Back Up. Take a look at Manual Activation

In this caase the AG does sit on top of a cluster but I'm happier installing it as if standalone (and we have plenty of licenses). Installing it individually means that I have full control, whereas we need to drag extra departments in for a cluster install.
Thanks for your time,
Steve.
