Is it possible to attach to a SQL Clone Database from a Linux SQL Server Container?

We have several SQL Server 2017 servers running in Linux Containers. Is it possible for such a server to attach to a SQL Clone database?

    Not in the current version of Clone, but we're actively exploring this space.

    Hi Gooders,
    Container support has been on the backburner for 2020, as we've been focusing on extending the product in other directions. It remains on our roadmap (the importance of containerized development is clear), but Clone doesn't currently support it.

    What is the current soituation regarding SQLClone and SQL Server running in a Linux container? Is it possible to create a clone database on a SQL Server in a Linux container?
