Hi,
When I try to use SQL Backup 9 to connect to the server it comes up with this error "OS Error: The OS storage system (RAM, CF, SD, or IPSM) is not responding. Retry the operation. [0, 0, 0,,,]Consider reducing your history".

    Hi @Rackman,

That error appears to be an issue when attempting to connect to the SQL Server Compact database but the file is not where the application thinks it is.

SQL Backup uses a SQL Server Compact Edition database for the activity history and is located by default at %ProgramData%\Red Gate\SQL Backup\Data\<instanceName>

You can see where the application thinks this should be located by checking the DataPath value in the registry at:
    Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Red Gate\SQL Backup\BackupSettingsGlobal\<instanceName>

This will be on the machine where the server components are installed I believe.  The path you find there should have a file called data.sdf in it.

    Kind regards,
    Alex
