Error - An equivalent project is already in the working directory

The error occurs after restoring from a database backup and linking to source control using a working folder, while accepting changes from 'get latest'.
Attempted solutions so far:
- Restarting SSMS
- Unlinking and relinking to Source Control
- Deleting the working base folder that causes the issue (results in another copy being created)

Full Text:
An equivalent project (a project with the same global properties and tools version) is already present in the project collection, with the path "C:\Users\$USER\AppData\Local\Red Gate\SQL Source Control 7\WorkingBases\miw2hbvu.uuq\sql-dmetrack.rgproj". To load an equivalent into this project collection, unload this project first.

There's a fix to this in the - May 14th, 2019 update which is only available through frequent updates.
