Customize Failed Job Alerts by Database Depending Upon How Many Times They Failed

I have a distribution database cleanup job that fails several times a day. However, rarely does it fail on sequential runs. Is there a way I can customize the alert for this particular job to NOT notify me unless it fails multiple times sequentially? It runs every ten minutes, but I don't want to be notified unless it fails three times in a row.
