SQL Search Not Returning Results in SSMS v17.9.1 and SSMS v 18.0 Preview 6

SQL Search Version 3.2.2.2221

SSMS v17.9.1 and also SSMS v 18.0 Preview 6

The search has been working pretty well for me until about an hour ago and it just won't return results. It takes a long time and then says, "No search results" even on search terms I know are there.

I use SQL Search primarily for tables and views and the "Names" and "Columns" matches. I tried connecting to the backup database and it was the same issue. Sometimes when this happens, I can trigger it to work by connecting to a second database, but that didn't work either.

    Thanks for your inquiry and sorry to hear about your issue with SQL Search.
    Can you try closing SSMS, deleting the indexes folder, restart SSMS and then try again to see if that works better?
