Why Commit takes so much time (4-5 mins) to search the changed objects
Hi,
We are evaluating Red Gate SQL Source Control with VSTS (TFS) as a Source Control.
While evaluating, we linked one of our database as a Shared DB and committed all DB Scripts over to TFS. Now that, if I change a couple of DB procedures as a part of some enhancement work item, and go to commit tab for changes to be Committed to Source Control (TFS in my case), it takes whole lot of time searching (3-5 mins) for objects changed every time since last commit.
Is that a normal behavior or we can anyhow reduce this searching time? Please suggest.
I have already filtered the Rules list to Tables, Views, Procs, Functions, Triggers only.

I'm afraid this is probably just related to the size of your database. If you have a lot of objects it may have an impact on performance.
