I have upgrade from SQL 2012 to SQL 2016, installing SSMS v17.9.1 but the Source Control don't show

Hi have both SQL Server installations, SQL 2012 and SQL 2016, and I have upgraded successfully. Now, I have installed SSMS v17.9.1, Uninstall ALL the Red Gate products, including Source Control, and reinstalled again, but Still on the SSMS 2012 not in SSMS v17.9.1.

  • What version of SQL Source Control do you have installed?  It may just not support being installed into SSMS17.

If it's a later version it might be that the toolbar is compressed into a row and is only showing as a grey dotted area with a down triangle next to it:

You then just need to drag the grey dotted area to the next line to expand it.
    Kind regards
