Data Compare for Oracle deployment scripts contains wrong values

We are using Data Compare to synchronise two Oracle databases. The comparison results appear correctly, but when we generate the deployment script the values in some of the INSERT and UPDATE statements are incorrect. The incorrect values appear to be a derivation of the value in another row. This value contains a Norwegian character, although the NLS_LANGUAGE setting of each DB is American. Is this a bug?
