How to fix windows authentication

I just installed DLM Dashboard version 1.7.5.1116. When I tried to connect to a database using windows authentication it failed with error SQL Server error: Login failed for user 'domain\user1$'. For some reason DLM is adding a 1$ to the end of my username. Obviously this will not work. Is there a config file or something that can be updated to fix this? This product has been out for a while so I would guess that someone has a fix for this somewhere.
