in SQL Prompt
Hello there,
I have just installed from this package SQLDeveloperBundle.exe, today to my Win 10 machine.
Found out SQL Prompt 9.4 and SQL Search menu not available in SSMS 2008 R2 are not working.
I have tried some of the options for the fixing, and also re-installing but couldn't make it work.
any help greatly appreciated
thanks
Ruth

Sometimes, after upgrading SQL Prompt (or a bundle of products that contains SQL Prompt), it will disappear from the Redgate toolbar in SQL Server Management Studio.
This can sometimes be fixed by repairing the SIP Framework installation:
Right-click SSMS Integration Pack Framework 1 and select Repair
You should now be able to access SQL Prompt normally but if it still doesn't appear in Management Studio uninstall and reinstall the tool.
Click on SQL Prompt and select Uninstall

tried uninstall and install several times..
pls advice
What's the full version of your SSMS 17? If you go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SQL Server\140\Tools\Binn\ManagementStudio\Extensions , do you see SQLPrompt and SQLSearch folder?
Do you have any other addins in SSMS?

I see SQLSearch but not SQLPrompt in that folder.
I also have SQL Source Control, which is also in that folder.
Reinstall usually should resolve the issue.
As you are supported, we've opened a support ticket and will get back to directly.
