SQL2017 - Setting compatibility levels for RedGate 11.4

We recently migrated to AZURE and upgraded the instance to SQL2017. Since we are using RedGate DataCompare 11.4, we are unable to connect to the database. I recently set the compatibility level to 120 (SQL2014) but still cannot connect. According to the release notes, I should be able to access the databases. Am I missing something?
